Beyond Indigo Volunteer Positions

One of Beyond Indigo's strengths is the warmth and caring given by its volunteers. Our volunteers are people who have walked the grief road themselves or who have helped people who are grieving. The experience of being a volunteer at Beyond Indigo provides amazing rewards because you are helping people who are in need. HTML/Production Volunteer

We need an energetic and committed person to assist us in production. Knowledge of HTML and CSS is required. Experience with web scripting languages, databases and/or XML is a plus. This is a great experience for a student intern or someone who want to expand his/her web development skills. You work from the comfort of your own home.

Newsletter Volunteer

Do you like communicating to people? Do you enjoy putting together information that people appreciate? Here at Beyond Indigo we are looking for a special person to organize our newsletters each week. Minimal amount of writing is required. Knowledge of HTML would be a plus but we provide training. Currently we are looking for people to manage the following newsletters:

• Angel Newsletter (weekly)
• Beyond Indigo News (weekly)
• Partner Loss (Bi-Monthly)
• ADC's, NDE's and Spiritual Newsletter (Bi-Monthly)
• Community News (weekly)

Message Board Monitors

Do you like talking to people? Our message boards are a wonderful place for people to get support, meet other people who are grieving, find new friends and learn about grief. If you like to chat to people and help build an online community then being a message board monitor is for you! Requirements are being 4 months along your grief journey and the ability to check your assigned message board once a day. Write Kelly today to see what boards are in need of monitors.

Volunteer Coordinator

Some people have a flair for managing people. Are you one of those? We are looking for a person to send out a weekly staff newsletter to get people informed about events on Beyond Indigo, give helpful tips and to provide general information. This person would also provide updates to the staff area and keep track of Beyond Indigo volunteers.

Research/Link Hunting

Do you like surfing the net? Do you have a knack for discovering hidden web sites? At Beyond Indigo we are looking for a person who wants to sniff out web sites where Beyond Indigo would be a good addition to their links list. Some e-mailing would be involved but a Beyond Indigo name would be provided.
