Interactions with the dead occur in non-local reality. They are not really standing at the foot of the bed, or to the side of a mirror. They are perceptions mediated by a specific area of the brain. Each person interprets the experience according to his or her own psychology.
Modern day psychics are known by many names: clairvoyant, spiritualist, and medium are just a few of them. They can be found everywhere from 1-900 numbers to the Internet to the Classifieds to the Yellow Pages. Yet, how does the average person tell the difference between a legitimate psychic and a scam artist looking to score a fast buck?

Are Near Death Experiences anecdotal? Yes. And so is most everything. You will see in the dictionary listing below exactly what an anecdote is defined to be. If this is an argument of authenticity, I fail to see it.
