In Memory

Dianne M Jungwirth

May 29,1961 - January 23,2001

In Our Memories

On January 23, 2001, My sister-in-law Dianne was killed by a young man who was driving under the influence of alcohol and cocaine. She and her friend were driving home from (work) Parkview nursing home at 6:30 am. When the young man crossed the center line and hit them head on, killing both almost instantly. Dianne was the mother of 3 kids, plus 2 step-daughters. She was a caring and loving person. She turned 40 on May 29th. She was so looking forward to watching her kids grow up. Their ages are 2 boys 10 and 11. One girl age 13. The 2 stepdaughters ages are 11 and 15. She will be missed dearly by all.

Thoughts of Remembrance

When you are in the middle of grieving, it is hard to remember that there is a place deep inside of you where you can go to find inner peace. Overcoming deep stress and hurt is not about control over the people or the situation around you. It is about recognizing that you really don't have power over another's choice. The only thing you have control over is your reaction.

When things seem so hopeless, quiet your mind with meditation, prayer or music and ask to go to that inner place. There you will discover the inner strength and knowledge that will help you respond to things beyond your control. Visit that place as often as you need to inorder to revitalize yourself.
