In Memory

Kirk Matthew Balthazor

June 11th, 1983 - August 5th, 2000

Our Love, Our Life, Our Kirk

Kirk was 17 when he was killed in a car accident only 4 blocks from his home. He wasn't wearing a seat belt and was killed when the car rolled over on him. It was instant so he didn't suffer. He was born on June 11, 1983 and was a beautiful person from the start. He was in scouts for the better part of his life and was beginning to think about finishing his Eagle Scout Badge. He played football and basketball throughout junior high and some in high school. He really loved baseball though. He was a member of Science Olympiad for 4 years and had won many medals at regional and state competitions. He had ADHD and was constatntly fighting the battle with school. He was our son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, and friend. We miss him very much.

No love, no friendship can cross the path of our destiny without leaving some mark on it forever. (Francois Mauriac)

To Our Light, Keep Shining

With arms wide open we recieved you into this world.

You were our son, our brother, our friend, our life.

We miss your energy, your smile, your constant need for life.

We long to touch you, to hold you, to kiss you,

To whisper we love you again.

Because of you death no longer is something to fear.

We await the time when we will all be together again.

Until then we will honor your memory with all our love.
