"It is amazing to me that so many people still believe that when we die, we cease to exist. I feel the work I do is valuable in dissolving such a view and in opening people's minds to something beyond their physical senses. The moment I relay a spirit message to a loved one, a person's life is usually changed forever. When a connection between the two worlds-physical and spiritual-has been bridged, nothing short of a miraculous reunion occurs.

When a reunion between the living and the dead takes place, it may be the first time the living understand that death has not robbed them of the love they once experienced with family and friends on the earth plane. Instead, they know that their loved ones are still with them and take a keen interest in their everyday affairs. With the knowledge of no death, they are free to live life. In an instant, a life overwrought with grief becomes a life ready to live each day and each moment with newness." --Excerpt from book

Talking to Heaven is a wonderful book that will make you feel better about your loved one's passing and will give you an understanding of what it's like to be a medium and see things from their point of view, rather than ours. Looking at things from a different point of view is how we grow and ultimately learn to appreciate life via a different perspective. This book is a fascinating look into James Van Praagh's life as a medium and how he came to develop and share his wonderful gift. If you have ever wondered what it would be like to be a medium, this book will help you understand how a medium does what they do and help you to appreciate their unique gift, and what that gift can do to help those of us who are wondering if our loved ones are okay.

  • Looking at life and death from the spiritual viewpoint of the universe and how we are all part of a process that is both inevitable and planned, is a very healing messages, especially for those who need this confirmation and understanding.

  • Hearing from deceased loved ones is not an unnatural occurrence, and those that seek healing in this way are rarely disappointed, providing you find a medium that was born with this healing gift, as Van Praagh was. My own experience bears this out.

  • My wife had an encounter with Von Praagh right after the death of my father, and he definitely connected with him and conveyed my father's sorrow at the way he acted on earth, which was totally appropriate and accurate. The apology was too late, but better late than never, as they say.

Mark is the author of Evan's Earthly Adventure. It is a father's journal written when his life was forever changed by the death of his beloved 13 year old son. The inspiration from his life and death affected eveyone who knew him. However, this is a story about life not death. It's a story about hope and passion, and dedication, and what can result from a life dedicated to achieving the highest goals. To read more about Evan's Eartlhy Adventure click here.
