HomeMessages from the MastersAbout the Book Messages from the Masters “Understanding can help to heal those old traumas. Because the deeper mind is not subject to the usual conditions of time and space, events of the past can be rescripted and reframed. Cause and effect are not so inextricably bound. Traumas can be undone, and the damaging effects can be reversed. Profound healing can occur, even at vast distances and even after many years of pain and hurt.
Just as love brings healing to our relationships, understanding brings a lessening of fear. Understanding opens the window through which love’s gentle breeze blows away our doubts and anxieties, refreshing our souls and nurturing our relationships.” –Excerpt from the book
Who are these masters anyway? I do have a problem with the idea of masters that you have to believe in, but the wisdom of what they convey is unmistakable. In reading this book the message of love and compassion comes through very clearly, and it is absolutely undeniable that compassion is better than anger, and that love is better than hate. It is up to us to find the true nature of ourselves, which is a spiritual one, which becomes obvious when reading this book.
I had a particularly difficult time even trying to find one quote for this book because there are so many passages full of insightful thoughts and ideas that I could have easily selected another 10.
This is a spiritual book that was beating me over the head until I finally said, “Okay, okay, I got it now.” After reading Messages from the Masters, I ended up feeling that I didn’t really care who the masters were but I was glad this book was written because it helped me a lot in my own struggle to find the compassion that I know is inside of me.
The author, shares his own experiences, those of his past-life regressed patients, information from the masters, and others, to help us understand our true nature, and how to live our lives in harmony and compassion. Highly recommended reading for anyone looking to enrich their lives and get an overview of life and death from a spiritual perspective.
• I was touched enough to reconsider my actions in an upcoming sentencing involving the death of my son Evan. I finally realized that showing compassion is better for me than holding on to anger. Once I started feeling a bit of forgiveness, I felt better and that is something that is a much needed salve in my life.
• Letting go of anger is quite healing. I started to also let go of my anger and immediately felt better.
• This book touched my intellect, my mind and then my heart. I didn’t want it to but it did. |
